As part of the UnitedHealthcare Provider Marketing Communications team, the Network News Producer plans, coordinates, and implements the content strategy and distribution for the health care professional digital newsletter. This role works cross functionally with partners who support monthly alerts and updates related to policies and protocols, state mandates, administrative tasks, creative development and more. The candidate must understand healthcare professionals’ roles, responsibilities, and needs to ensure successful digital adoption.
This position supports departmental objectives and organizational growth goals. The candidate represents the voice of the Provider to influence service quality improvements and reduce costs in serving healthcare professionals. It requires a candidate who possesses a growth mindset, is innovative, demonstrates strategic thinking, leads key projects, excels in collaborative settings, and is adaptable to a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of UnitedHealthcare’s Network News online platform, working with SMEs, designers and approvers to deliver necessary and compelling content to the healthcare professional audience
- Develops and executes newsletter email campaigns in an accurate, efficient manner consistent with marketing strategy, campaign objectives and digital / email best practices
- Work with Provider Marketing Communications team to outline provider email journeys
- Partner with Analytics/Salesforce Marketing Cloud agile team to map out business data integration needs and reporting
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional team members, establish trust and credibility in a matrix organization, as well as demonstrate effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills
- Consult on content creation including style and content best practices and procedure and policy questions
- Review all Network News articles and related materials for style and grammar oversight and guidance on tone and content
- Create and maintain article templates
- Create Network News advanced reports and develop highlight summaries for quick dissemination, keeping key Enterprise contacts aware of proposed content
- Identify potential issues/areas of opportunity during reporting phase to optimize individual sends and overall Network News user experience
- Draft new articles in collaboration with business partners as needed
- Evaluate and manage research opportunities, analyze study data, and incorporate provider feedback
- Possess a balance of analytical and strategic thinking skills, while being focused on producing and executing high quality campaigns
- Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple projects, under quick deadlines and be able to respond quickly and accurately to change

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant marketing and/or communications experience in a corporate environment
- 3+ years marketing or communications experience in health care
- 3+ years of knowledge and working within digital products as a SME with proven ability to communicate digital channel best practices
- 2+ years of experience developing, implementing, and managing email campaigns
- Experience in developing content tailored to specific audiences and channels
- Experience with and ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision to drive meaningful insights, recommendations and influencing overall strategy
- Knowledge and experience managing expectations and working with clients and business owners
- Proven excellent project management skills – from development of strategies through execution
- Proven solid communication skills both written and oral, data visualization, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with marketing platforms/data tools (Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud query studio, SQL)
- Experience working in highly regulated industries with complex environments and audiences
- Flexibility in adapting to changing business requirements

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
