Positions in this function are involved in developing marketing strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth for our UnitedHealthOne business unit. This includes developing strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, supporting new product and program launches, and developing strategies to combat competitive pressures. It may also include analyzing economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimating costs, and managing program/project budgets.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in strategic marketing planning conversations as it relates to general UHOne business goals
• Develop and manage marketing campaign project plans to execute established strategies
• Identify and engage multiple stakeholders to drive development of creative assets and digital media plans
• Work cross functionally with internal and external partners to ensure adherence to timelines and regulatory standards
• Gather feedback from applicable stakeholders on marketing assets as well as audience and campaign strategies
• Work directly with external agency partners on creative development projects and marketing media planning
• Manage day to day digital marketing campaign questions with internal and external partners

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree within the last 24 months or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or another applicable field of study. Coursework to obtain degree must be completed prior to start of employment. Degree must be awarded and verified within 6-8 weeks following the commencement date at your school
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require visa sponsorship, TN visa holders, current H-1B visa holders, and/or those requiring green card sponsorship will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Internship experience related to Marketing or Communications
• Experience in areas related to marketing campaign strategy and planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a key resource for external agency partners and internal customers
• Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with sales, legal, compliance and product to plan and execute marketing tactics
• Proven self-starter, with demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
• Demonstrated problem solving ability with a focus on innovative approaches to resolve customer problems

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
