This role is responsible for the strategic management of new and existing member digital products and experiences within the UHC Consumer Product Office for the Medicare & Retirement (M&R) and Community & State (C&S) line of businesses. Consumer Product is a team that sits within Consumer Operations organization. This individual is responsible for partnering with cross-channel teams to ensure business objectives, digital delivery, self-service viability, SLA’s, stability, and rapid issue management

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build relationships, understand and articulate stakeholder needs, define roadmap and communicate priorities in order to plan for efficient integration of relevant capabilities into the digital experience 
• Holistic understanding of the digital experience and aligned to business priorities to drive efforts forward 
• Represent stakeholder needs into the digital product teams, annual planning and supporting strategic direction of products 
• Keep stakeholders informed of all new digital capabilities that are available and work with the digital product team to build a plan to deliver for the verticals in the future 
• Knowledgeable of the member digital experience within authenticated UHC experience 
• Provide internal and external product support of the member experience 
• Work with stakeholders to build a process to identify new digital product features 
• Work with stakeholders, digital product teams and the Medicare product teams on rollout planning, communications and messaging 
• Remove hurdles that could negatively impact productivity, project timelines or digital member experience

Required Qualifications:

• Experience to drive execution in digital product development and experiences 
• Solid experience managing across a complex-matrix organization 
• Experience working with stakeholders/clients/senior leaders (managing expectations, managing delivery dates) 
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of product managers, project managers, marketers and engineering 
• Experience in focusing on user experience and consumer centric 
• Exposure to healthcare 
• Proven general knowledge of current digital web and application standards 
• Demonstrated portfolio of user-centric experiences with proven, positive impacts to engagement and KPIs 
• Proven track record of driving results-oriented initiatives with solid influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with the Medicare & Retirement (M&R) line of business 
• Experience with the Community and State (C&S) line of business
• Demonstrated ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision 
• Demonstrated solid ability to absorb and make sense of varying connected pieces to direct decision making

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
