Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversees request and delivery of new functionality supporting our commercial medical products
• Assesses and identifies improvements required to support growth
• Collaborates with Product Owner, colleagues, and other business stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed requirement documentation
• Translates data into compelling business cases and customer stories
• Drives automation enhancements and works with end users to develop criteria, justifications, and maintain backlog
• Creates and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for product configuration and capability maintenance
• Communicates progress from start to finish, providing leadership updates on status, timelines, issues, and risk
• Research complex issues while navigating multiple platforms and databases
• Builds, maintains, and prioritizes a capability/product backlog
• Creates and guides a prioritized roadmap through the capability life cycle to post-production implementation
• Oversees development and deployment of capabilities, navigating roadblocks and communicating transparently
• Uses creative thinking to solve problems and challenges current thinking
• Observes customer interactions with product and accurately represents customer needs with internal stakeholders
• Identifies and assesses impact as well as cost/benefit analysis to deliver new functionality
• Identifies opportunities to leverage technology to improve product capabilities and shares learnings to influence change

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years in product development, product analysis, business analysis, or similar analytical roles
• 3+ years in product management/project development with requirements, problem-solving, and analysis-based decision-making
• Data-driven decision-making experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated collaborative ability and influence to drive timely decisions
• Demonstrated strategic thinking with priority and urgency to clear roadblocks
• Demonstrated effective collaboration and communication skills in a telecommuting environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail, swift error resolution, and stakeholder communication

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
