Primary Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management:
  • Develop and maintain project portfolios
  • Align projects with strategic objectives
• Capital Requests/CBAs:
  • Prepare capital budget requests and cost-benefit analyses (CBAs)
  • Justify expenditures to senior management
• Budget Tracking:
  • Monitor portfolio budgets
  • Provide financial reports on spending
• Reporting & Communications:
  • Oversee capability management reporting
  • Communicate production metrics to stakeholders
• Performance Tracking:
  • Develop performance enhancement plans
  • Track progress against roadmaps
• Resource Allocation:
  • Manage resource allocation across projects
  • Ensure optimal resource utilization
• Vendor Relations:
  • Maintain relationships with vendors
  • Negotiate contracts and manage performance
  • Strategic Alignment & Program Management:
  • Align projects with enterprise goals 
  • Lead program management activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope, budget, and quality standards
• Product Strategy & Roadmap:
  • Define and execute product roadmaps
  • Develop strategies to increase product value over time
• Execution & Operations:
  • Manage high-quality execution across teams
  • Support day-to-day operations
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on marketplace and product topics
  • Collaborate with leaders and partners to understand business needs
  • Advocate for product positions at all organizational levels

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years non-technical product development and/or consulting experience within a large, matrixed organization
• Health Care industry experience 
• Experience developing business cases and P&Ls
• Experience communicating at all levels of an organization, including executive presentations 
• Experience working collaboratively to influence and drive initiatives forward in a matrixed environment 
• Proficient with MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment and possesses knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle
• Experience performing competitive analysis and market research to stay on top of industry trends
• Proven desire to challenge the status quo, and solid focus on the voice of the customer
• Proven solid organization, documentation, change management and project management skills
• Proven ability to work well within teams and the ability to influence peers, stakeholders and management
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintain a positive attitude
• Currently working in UHC Operations & Experience

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
