As a Product Owner with OptumRx, you will help design the future processes in support of the Network Transformation. You will be the liaison between the business and our technology teams to design the best technical solutions for quality and efficiency. You’ll deliver the best processes that impact thousands of clients and have to opportunity to make a major impact on designing network strategy for the future.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Owner for Contract Hub, a sales force tool used by the pharmacy contracting team to house contract and pharmacy data
- Develop and manage detailed project plans for projects that span multi departments and cross functional areas
- Lead business process & transformational improvement programs
- Build effective relationships and communicate regularly with team members and other stakeholders
- Provide consistent and thorough updates. Identifies risks, implement a mitigation / action plan, and drive improved outcomes, communicate to senior leadership
- Work with Tech Leads and Business Owners to complete high level sizing to validate product roadmaps
- Advise the Leadership team to create scalable and efficient processes that meets business needs. This will include managing complex processes and coordinating end to end solutions with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide direction to translate specific requirements into operational processes that will be delegated to OptumRx technology teams
- Apply experience and knowledge to collaborate with technology partners to build new technical applications, as needed, that have the capacity to meet the scale and volume of the network needs
- Responsible for budget for technology products
- Lead cross-functional projects to innovate existing processes and software
- Defines training processes, overall technical consulting process, including detailed documentation for training materials, SOPs, job aids, templates, test scenarios, expected outcomes, validation methodology/processes, test results, and recommendations related to external data file requirements
- Works with internal stakeholders to proactively identify process improvements and drive their resolution
- Understands data standards and identifies data abnormalities
- Determines quality standards
- Monitors and measures data quality in all outputs that are delivered
- Promptly responds to service failures, resolves issues, and escalates concerns as appropriate
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organization problems within and outside own team
- Keeps current with industries best practices and seeks additional training/seminars to improve skills for themselves and their team

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of years of experience of project management, business analysis and/or product management (or combination of the three)
- Experience with Salesforce system capabilities and functionality
- Experience in working with Agile/Scrum, creating business requirements, writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance
- Experience working with cross functional teams, driving and managing to decisions
- Experience making recommendations and decisions around process improvements, issues, technology solutions, enhancement needs and process updates
- Intermediate Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- PSPO certification
- Advanced Excel experience
- Experience leading teams, making sound business decisions that support department needs and regulatory obligations
- Experience in gathering business requirements in Power BI, SQL or other software to generate reporting
- Expertise in providing SME support to new product implementations, highlighting operational limitations/options using data to support the direction

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
