The CARE Product Analyst will be responsible for supporting care management inventory stratification development along with supporting report analysis and creation and delivery reporting to the Vice President of CARE Product Development. Clinical performance is charged with effectively implementing, monitoring, and executing on programs related to driving affordability, clinical quality activities across the UMR Third Party Administration business.
The CARE Product Analyst is responsible for supporting internal and external clinical data development and reporting.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Schedule and/or meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather inventory stratification requirements and data analysis needs
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports to support inventory management and decision-making processes
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
- Supports UMR report development. Includes designing and developing reporting templates, visualizations and interactive dashboards to clearly communicate key findings while ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all reporting activities
- Propose and/or define long-term strategies for implementing new inventory processes and/or reporting improvements

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics/business intelligence and SQL reporting
- Solid proficiency in data analysis, including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, IPro)
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven to work with autonomy and minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- 3+ years of experience working in a complex matrixed work environment with competing priorities.
- 3+ years of Care Management clinical products experience
- Hands on experience in data integration and ETL processes
- Experience using collaboration and diplomacy to work as part of a matrixed, inter-disciplinary team

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
