As part of the product team, this role will be supporting provider claim rework. We are looking for someone who is analytical, understands and knows provider and member data and the relationships of the data within our systems. As a Senior Product Analyst / Product Owner, you’ll work closely with our stakeholders and technology teams to help drive business requirements and deliver on the roadmap all while working across multiple cross functional teams. While this role is not directly technical, a strong understanding of how products work and a clear vision for their interdependencies and data within our ecosystem is an absolute necessity.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Work with other product owners, product managers, business stakeholders and our engineering teams to gather, develop, document/write and validate business needs, requirements and specifications
• Define and write user stories that will be groomed and developed by product development teams
• Provides analytical support and expertise needed to translate requirements into solutions
• Solves complex problems and/or conducts complex analysis
• Works with minimal guidance and seeks guidance on only complex tasks
• Work with product owners/managers to prioritize the backlog against changing business needs
• Supports application testing and configuration with project teams to ensure solution will meet the business objectives of the requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner and / or Business Analyst facilitating, and documenting requirements as features or user stories gathered from both business and IT counterparts
• Experience working on multiple projects concurrently
• Experience working with cross functional teams
• Experience visually communicating business problems and flows – for example with Visio and PowerPoint
• Experience working with all phases of Agile methodology
• Experience working with Agile software delivery tools such as CA Agile, Jira, etc.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Healthcare experience 
• Presently employed within UHC Provider Operations
• Healthcare experience in claims domain
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
• Proven ability to work in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate ideas and analysis in a clear concise fashion to clients, colleagues, and senior business leaders

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
