Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clinical training for case and utilization management programs, including:
  • New hire onboarding
  • Ongoing professional growth, compliance, and regulatory training
  • Customer service excellence
• Leverage creativity and bring knowledge of a wide variety of interactive adult learning principles and instructional best practices to present education and training programs
• Serve as consultant for policies and procedures used by nurses in day-to-day work; monitor daily nurse chats to support skill acquisition and improvement
• Stay current on all policy and procedural updates and communicate necessary  updates related to curriculum and learning materials
• Tailor delivery of curriculum as needed to best meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
• Participate in evaluation activities to measure the effectiveness of educational activities and use evaluation data to improve design and delivery of training
• Track registration, attendance, participation, and course completion of learners
• Follow plan for professional development and actively seek out opportunities to increase expertise in health care education and adult training programs
• Support quality audit and improvement programs
• Represent training needs of new and current employees to leadership

Required Qualifications: 

• Current unrestricted registered nurse license
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
• 3+ years of utilization management experience
• 1+ years of Clinical training experience in a group setting with 3 or more learners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• Experience with prior authorization, inpatient management, or clinical claims review
• Experience with CMS evidence-based guidelines
• Experience in conducting instructor-led training in a classroom setting
• Familiarity of care guidelines using InterQual and/or Milliman Care Guidelines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
