JOB TITLE: Capability Analyst
 
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
 
DUTIES: Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Duties include: discuss and resolve business, data and process issues within the team(s), across stakeholders; research and analyze data and business processes, as needed, via quantitative and qualitative analysis for requirements and to support solutioning; lead and/or support internal review sessions with all levels, including senior leadership; collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality; responsible for specific services, functions, and solutions available internally or as a supporting element of a product, typically not sold stand-alone externally; support all phases of agile software development to include initiation, design, development and testing; work with product owners and business stakeholders to gather, develop, document/write and validate business needs, requirements and specifications; complete artifacts, including, user stories/requirements, solution design support artifacts, and others as required; participate in and/or lead, as appropriate, process/workflow analysis and enhancements to support requirements; assist with delivery of products to market and/or manage internal business functions; alignment to business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of capability portfolio across the full lifecycle to ensure business-specific or cross-enterprise impact; provide market insights leveraged to monitor trends and external landscape, and inform capability strategies and customer use case scenarios; accountable for delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve a specific problem and enable successful external product delivery and/or internal business function performance, while driving adoption with internal business clients and define future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities.. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interdisciplinary Studies, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: 
 
Rally; 
Safe Agile methodology 
POPM Certified; and 
Microsoft Office Suite
Visio 
Technical writing of user stories and features 
Lead management software 
API testing, including Postman 
Direct-to-consumer platforms
 
RATE OF PAY:  $88,254 – $112,980 /  per year
