This role entails overseeing Quality Performance Improvement initiatives for various ISNP and IESNP contracts across different regions. The position involves collaboration with Regional Leadership to assess and evaluate performance metrics, formulate strategic plans, and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing Star Outcomes. Additionally, it supports clinical programs within each region to promote superior clinical results.
The ISNP/IESNP Manager provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight for performance. This role is responsible for strategy, analysis, planning, organizing, delivering power point presentations (executive and detail level) and directing the administration of all Quality Programs\Strategies. Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff. Responsible for coordinating with appropriate personnel to develop and meet operational goals, ensures compliance with state/federal health plan requirements, Medicare guidelines, NCQA and health plan requirements. Provides long-term planning and oversight to ensure activities are appropriately integrated into strategic direction and operations, as well as the mission and values of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and support in establishing and directing the Stars Program for specific regions within multiple ISNP contracts
- Develops and prepares for monthly market and regional level meetings to discuss Star performance and review opportunities for improvement
- Collaborates with the Regional Vice-President to execute the implementation of the Star initiatives
- Provides expertise to the training department on Star measures and tools that support collection of and communication about HEDIS/STAR to the enterprise
- Working in collaboration with the Clinical Training team to develop monthly Lunch and Learn curriculum for clinical team
- Develops HEDIS/STAR member and provider engagement strategies
- Works with Optum LCDO Quality leadership team to provide HEDIS/STAR reporting and to develop strategic direction
- Facilitates, integrates, and/or coordinates the implementation and evaluation of identified quality improvement/HEDIS/STAR activities as requested by customer base
- Promotes understanding, communication and coordination of all quality initiatives
- Coordinates reporting on quality initiatives to all appropriate markets and leaders
- Participates in various teams, committees and meetings at any level required to maintain business necessity
- Maintains Star program documents, reports, and meeting minutes and follows all internal privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
- Leads the coordination and completion of projects with cross-functional teams and senior leaders across medical/nursing/clinical functional areas to achieve targeted clinical strategic performance goals

Required Qualifications:
- Clinical and/or Operational background in Medicare Advantage with 5+ years experience in Quality operations
- 3+ years of experience in STARS rating program management
- Experience with and demonstrated proficiency in creating and presenting high-level PowerPoint presentations and delivering to executive audiences
- Proven experience in formulating robust strategic initiatives to enhance clinical performance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing and interpreting operational data and proven ability to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies based on the insights derived from the data
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives, coupled with an executive presence

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
