The Supervisor Clinical Administrator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, delivering excellent customer service. Supports the teams in meeting state compliance goals.

Schedule: A 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00pm. The schedule will be determined by the supervisor upon hire.

Location: 3 Delaware Drive Lake Success, NY 11042 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of team’s workflow (PTO, scheduling, etc.)
  • Manages requests for documentation and information
  • Distributes reports and results
  • May train and mentor co-workers
  • Analyzes documentation and tracks completion to meet regulatory requirements
  • Promotes principles of health information accuracy, transparency, currency, accessibility, relevancy and reliability
  • Supervise support staff members, assesses the needs of patients, and delegates tasks appropriately.  Provides guidance and training to assigned staff responsible for scheduling and frontline activities
  • Supervises, oversees and coordinates daily staff assignments and operations for the department to include hiring alongside the department manager, complete performance evaluations and training
  • Ensure customer service and other administrative activities for the department administrative staff.  Develops staff to accomplish goals that support the department / organization direction
  • Demonstrate quality improvement, facilitating the generation of ideas for improvement of patient care and functioning of the department initiatives. Collaborates with other team members to generate new ideas for quality improvement with regards to administration, patient care, and overall functioning of the department
  • Works with Department Manager to collaborate on relevant issues
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures in collaboration with the department manager
  • Ensure strict adherence to policies/procedures related
  • Analyze monthly metrics relating to current team members; develop and implement operational changes based on metrics
  • Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep pace with the trends in health care administration
  • Other duties as assigned Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience
  • 6+ months of EPIC experience to include creating template within EPIC
  • Ability to work full time. Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am-4pm.  It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
  • Reside within commutable distance to Lake Success, NY

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience as a team leader, supervisor, or manager
  • Basic level of computer proficiency
  • Basic level of proficiency with phone etiquette

Soft Skills: 

  • Ability to work independently and as a team, and maintain good judgment and accountability 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others

    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
