The Director, Medicare Advantage Product Operations, is a pivotal individual contributor role responsible for developing and executing an aligned operations strategy across our Medicare Advantage product portfolio. This leader will help ensure that our operational initiatives are compliant with all applicable rules and aligned with business goals while supporting positive member and provider experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Represent Medicare Advantage Product within operational teams and decision-making forums as a thought leader and key decision maker
- In partnership with Government Programs Product Leadership, Operations and provider partners, develop and implement a comprehensive process to enforce the issuance of referrals on gatekeeper plans, including: stakeholder engagement, requirement definition, market scheduling, infrastructure development, issue resolution, and member and provider messaging, communication, reporting and change planning
- Work directly with market CEOs and market staff across M&R and C&S to confirm business requirements and identify and address any market, provider or plan specific issues impacting deployment plans or ongoing operations
- Lead operational performance management to enhance end-to-end efficiency, streamline processes, minimize disruption to care and ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor financial results of the program and analyze data on implementation effectiveness to identify process improvements, streamline operations, and enhance quality while reducing costs
- Problem-solve with both operations and technical teams as necessary to keep the project on track and within budget, and clearly communicate any program changes to Medicare leaders and impacted teams

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in health care product and/or operations positions, preferably within the Medicare sector
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, health care economics, operations and technical teams in order to achieve business objectives
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive performance
- Proven excellent critical thinking and communication skills, with a focus on action orientation and collaboration within cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience specifically in Medicare Advantage product spaces
- Experience working with delegated claims
- Knowledge of CSP and/or COSMOS capabilities, processes and data
- Solid understanding of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with technological solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects between product and operational teams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
