As a Marketing Communications Consultant within the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) business, you will serve as a strategic communications partner supporting client-facing initiatives that elevate engagement and promote growth and retention. This role requires a deep understanding of the PBM landscape, the ability to translate complex pharmacy and healthcare concepts into clear, persuasive messaging, and the agility to operate across a highly matrixed organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Client-Facing Communications: Develop and deliver high-impact communications that support PBM client management, address client issues, and provide guidance and insights for strategic initiatives and regulatory changes. This includes developing messaging for client facing materials, executive briefings, product launches, state and federal regulatory updates, and operational communications
- Strategic Messaging & Positioning: Collaborate with product, sales, and client management teams to shape narratives that reinforce our value proposition and market leadership. Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned across all client-facing channels
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across marketing, product, analytics, legal, network, finance, and operations to gather insights, align messaging, and ensure timely delivery of communications. Act as a facilitator across teams to streamline communication workflows
- Content Development: Write, edit, and manage a wide range of content formats including presentations, talking points, FAQs, publications, playbooks, and digital assets. Tailor content to diverse audiences including clients, internal teams, and executive leadership
- Program Enablement: Drive communications strategies that support enterprise-wide initiatives such as PBM modernization, state and federal regulatory changes, client experience transformation, and rebate transparency to build awareness and engagement and promote adoption.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate communication workstreams to ensure alignment with business priorities and timelines. Manage intake, prioritization, and execution of communication requests, and maintain visibility into project status, risks, and dependencies. Serve as a central point of contact for tracking deliverables and facilitating team collaboration
- Governance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all communications adhere to brand, legal, and compliance standards. Maintain version control and documentation practices to support audit readiness

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications
- 2+ years of experience in the PBM/healthcare industry with a solid understanding of operations, terminology, and client dynamics
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Solid demonstrated project management skills, including development and management of workplans
- Proven exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Solid demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in pharmacy benefits, healthcare or regulated industries
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
