As the Director of Digital Product Management – Plan Catalog, you will spearhead the evolution of digital solutions that will revolutionize our industry of shopping for Medicare plans, and delight our customers with simple, easy to understand tools. You will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering UHC’s Medicare Plan Catalog – the central digital experience showcasing all Medicare plans across consumer and agent channels. This core shopping platform integrates with multiple tools to guide individuals in selecting the right plan for their health and wellness needs. 

 

In this role, you will also serve as a strategic business partner to the Supplemental Medicare (Insurance Solutions) line of business, ensuring the full portfolio of Medicare products is seamlessly integrated into our digital strategy. You will be responsible for aligning product roadmaps with state-specific regulatory requirement and business priorities to support a compliant comprehensive portfolio consumer experience.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Shape the Future: Develop and execute a bold digital product strategy that aligns with our ambitious business goals and sets us apart in the market
• Lead with Vision: Inspire and guide cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch groundbreaking digital products that exceed customer expectations
• Innovate Relentlessly: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Cultivate a culture of creativity, excellence, and continuous learning within your Product Management team
• Collaborate and Create: Work closely with stakeholders to define a compelling product vision, roadmap, and requirements that drive success
• Manage with Precision: Develop and deliver against Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to drive measurable value. Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to ensure continuous improvement and exceptional quality 
• Champion Compliance: Ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications: 

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in digital product management with a history of launching products that drive measurable outcomes of success
• Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adjust messaging to your audience, and break down silos with transparency and openness
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, keeps a watchful eye towards AI capabilities and other innovative technologies
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, ability to come to the table with creative solutions, and willingness to adjust as the business and consumer needs change every year
• Leadership Skills: Proven solid leadership and team management abilities that inspire and motivate, drive collaboration and cooperation between individuals and teams
• Analytical Mindset: Proven excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
