Positions in this function are responsible for planning, creating, and producing communications and/or promotional materials. Communication materials may include product marketing, sales promotion, member/patient/provider communications, internal communications regarding real estate services, general compliance, and/or operational process updates/changes, system updates, safety and quality changes and tips to keep frontlines and patients safe etc. Additionally, positions may coordinate activities involved in the preparation of advertising, sales promotion, and publicity in support of the marketing of company products. Consults with product management, sales, and internal/external organizations to develop and implement communications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
• Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
• Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area
• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines
• Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of communications, public relations or marketing experience
• 3+ years project management experience within a matrix organization
• 3+ years of professional writing and editing experience
• 3+ years of experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to clarify, manage and prioritize several deliverables
• Proven organizational skills

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
