This position will support Behavioral Health provider and member operations teams by coordinating IT projects and partnerships, defining business requirements, leading, and documenting UAT efforts, researching and identifying root causes for system or process issues, identifying opportunities for improvements, measuring and quantifying the impact of system changes, and holding partner teams accountable for results. The position will require collaboration and leadership with a wide variety of colleagues.
This position requires someone who is a detail-oriented puzzle-solver at their core; a good listener and clear communicator; someone who will proactively explore and solve problems but also follows protocols that are more prescribed when needed.
Success in this role will require the following:

– Taking full responsibility for the outcomes of projects and tasks. Keeping leaders and stakeholders clearly informed of status, progress, and risks.
– Following enterprise and industry standards when appropriate (OSAM methodology for IT projects; Six Sigma templates; PADU, etc).
– Building trust and transparency with others by demonstrating competence and delivering expected results.
– Advocating passionately for the member, patient, provider and partner experience by fostering a culture of compassion and ownership.
– Collaborating with others to achieve common goals. Focusing on synergy, alternative options, and conflict resolution to overcome differences.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Analysis, Product or Capability role, Project Manager, or similar role interfacing with business and technology
- Experience in a related analytical role: This could include experience as a Business Analyst, Product or Capability role, Project Manager, or similar role interfacing with business and technology
- Experience in application implementations/development: Leading or participating in the operational activities related to application implementations
- Experience with migrations: Experience with account, group, or data migrations, understanding the intricacies of transferring data and functionalities between systems
- Consultative experience: Ability to collaborate with clients to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and guide them through the implementation process
- Project management experience: Managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring successful project completion
- Experience in the relevant industry: Experience within specific sectors like healthcare, or insurance may be required depending on the job
- Experience with specific platforms and tools: This can include platforms like Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Experience with data analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Understanding of Process Improvement and Management: Ability to identify and implement improved processes and workflows
- Proficiency with relevant software: Intermediate proficiency with tools like MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
- Excellent Communication and People Skills: Proven to effectively communicate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, building solid relationships, and providing training
- Data Analysis Skills: Proven ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively: Function effectively as part of a team and manage individual responsibilities
- Proven attention to detail and organizational skills: Meticulous approach to data and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Proven strategic thinking: Aligning technology solutions with business goals and strategies
The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
