We are seeking an accomplished Senior Marketing Specialist to support the Channel and Alliance Partnership’s sales team’s growth agenda. This dynamic and multifaceted role blends responsibilities from product, integrated, and sales-enablement marketing. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in the execution of marketing plans and sales support, including launching products, creating content and sales materials, digital promotion, and events. We’re looking for someone with exceptional skills in problem solving, cross-team collaboration, organization, and thrives in a fast-paced, complex organization.
Channel Partner marketing will be focused on driving growth of Optum products through partner channels. Alliance marketing will focus on supporting innovative partnerships that enable Optum Insight to meet client needs and grow business. This includes developing relationships, selling/promoting third party products or supporting the growth of co-developed products.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing plans, campaigns, digital content, and programs that build the brand within the channel partner business, to support new partner acquisition, relationship expansion, partner/customer retention, and create demand and generate loyalty
- Manage partner relationships related to marketing and business development to help drive sales and maximize revenue opportunities
- Effectively work across key stakeholders, including Sales, Account Management, Product Management, Strategy, etc. to execute on marketing and communications plans that are aligned to key business priorities and drives growth in partnership channel
- Develop and execute on partner program launch plans including positioning statements and value propositions, collateral development, promotional plans, etc.
- Craft and implement messaging and content development that is relevant, meaningful, and compelling, and serves to engage prospects, customers, and other key stakeholders
- Own all partner program set-up, project management and reporting
- Captures performance metrics: Collects and analyzes data from various marketing channels to track performance against KPIs for data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven digital and/or sales marketing experience
- Prior knowledge and experience with sales enablement, event preparation, and digital marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Optum marketing experience
- Solid healthcare marketing experience
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and metrics
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Experience with website marketing
- Experience with Workfront, Teams, and Salesforce; Marketo, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics a plus
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
Demonstrated Skills:
- Experience with marketing campaign execution (concepting, execution, lead generation, attribution, results)
- Knowledge of sales processes and methodology
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.). Advanced skills in PowerPoint, creating compelling and effective slides to be used by the sales/leadership team
- Solid writing and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across the organization to accomplish goals
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent project management, prioritization skills

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
