Primary Responsibilities: 

• The Sr Capability Analyst will maintain existing configuration as well as implement enhancements/features on OHBS Facets in these areas:  
• Explanation Codes 
  • Post-Service Member and Provider Communications 
  • Facets Extensions – Crosswalk Utility Tables (CRUTL) 
  • Agile Product Owner support 
  • Facets Security 
  • Facets Interest
  • Facets Workflow
• Ensure successful installation, implementation and configuration
• Implement changes as needed.
  • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
• Create and maintain internal process documentation.
  • Understands priorities and organizes work to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations.
  • Troubleshoot system or process issues then provide feedback and suggestions.
  • Create and execute quality testing strategies.

Required Qualifications: 

• 4+ years of experience in the U.S. Healthcare industry 
• 2+ years of Cognizant FACETS experience proven in the following areas: 
  • Claims Processing 
  • Medical Plan Configuration (Accums, AIAI, Interest Rates, UM Matching, etc) 
  • Benefit Configuration
• 2+ years of experience supporting the following lines of business: Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid 
• 2+ years of DB Querying experience (i.e. SQL, MS/Access, Hyperion, Toad, etc) 
• Proven experience gathering and documenting requirements 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Billing and Coding experience 
• Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes 
• Working knowledge of CA Agile 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, both written and verbally, analysis including trends and opportunities to internal leadership and internal customers 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively test to ensure intended results are achieved

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
