This position will be accountable for managing and driving strategy for the assigned book of business supporting M&R and C&S D-SNP health plans and state. This includes supporting the Associate Director of Strategy and Segment Engagement with the following: managing an assigned book of business to drive strategic planning for integrated materials, budget innovation, overall relationship management across the organization, readiness activities/reporting, and be the lead point of contact for your assigned states, plans, and any assigned projects or programs in alignment with enterprise, business segment and department objectives and initiatives. This individual will be required to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization including the C&S health plans, Implementation Business Analysts (IBA), and Materials Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with Project and Operation teams to design and execute the development, review, customization, and approval of all communications related to assigned states/plans in the assigned book of business
- Design and manage review timelines across impacted partner teams and within the strategy team to ensure capacity planning
- Work with operations leads to account for budget and resource planning based on membership and growth objectives
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the environment and regulations (State, CMS)
- Drive engagement and relationships – socialize and follow approved strategies with all business partners
- Innovation – identify solutions to improve process, member experience and quality
- Controls – implement controls to mitigate unplanned material requests
- Collaborate with operational teams within Enterprise Communications to ensure program implementation and delivery
- Collaboration for short and long term strategy and planning
- Cooperate with yearly Planning Kick Off Meeting with Stakeholders
- Ensure product changes or new launches are supported and take integrated factors into account
- Provide all requirements to Materials Operations Team for execution of Member Materials

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience building effective business relationships that proceed to implementation of agreed upon outcomes and performance metrics
- 2+ years of experience in Managed Care/Healthcare business lifecycle, governances, and regulations
- 2+ years of experience with government guidelines, compliance, regulations (i.e. CMS, Healthcare Re-form)
- Experience interacting and consulting with business partners
- Customer/member experience focus
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Word, Adobe Professional and PowerPoint
- Demonstrates solid communication and presentation skills
- Proven project management skills to manage to multiple deadlines
- Individual contributor who can manage both personal work and influence team initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience within Community and State
- Materials Operations experience
- Experience with database programs such as Access or NetSuite

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
