Positions in this function provide sales commission support and administrative services to non-employee sales producers such as broker agents, field marketing organizations, and independent contract agents. Acts as secondary and specialized coordinator of statements and information to load, manipulate/format, and input information for the commission process. Works with worksheets, templates, and other tools to assist in the loading process. Resource for less experienced people on the team. Experience in both downloading and loading of statements. As one aspect of broader support role, may manage administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed payments.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Extensive work experience within own function
- Work is frequently completed without established procedures

- May coordinate other activities
- Contact the carrier/carrier relations when needed, to resolve statement discrepancies
- Perform statement audits as needed
- Load policy statements/files for commission processing
- Demonstrates a high level of knowledge and skills in own function
- Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
- Solves routine problems on own
- May be involved in training of new employees

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience with loading functions
- Expert level of proficiency with Excel (creating, saving, editing, sharing files, VLOOKUP, formula building), Outlook (creating rules and using calendar, creating, copying, editing, saving and sending correspondence) and Access (navigating, accessing and using databases)
- Ability to work overtime/weekend per business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications including Word (creating, editing, saving and sharing documents)
- Previous experience with downloading function
- Ability to maintain sensitive information and data confidentiality
- Training experience
- Presently employed within UHC Operations & Experience
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
