Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and prioritize the product roadmap
- Develop and maintain a well-organized product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and customer needs
- Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Serve as the point of contact for Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Act as a primary communication channel between stakeholders and the development team
- Work with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs
- Monitor and evaluate product performance post-launch, utilizing metrics and user feedback to inform future iterations
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
- Utilize business administration skills to analyze data and drive strategic decision-making
- Provide training and support to stakeholders and end-users to ensure successful product adoption
- Assist in the creation of product documentation and user guides
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 + years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile environment
- Demonstrated product handling experience with a track record of successful product launches
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and experience with Agile tools (Rally, JIRA, Trello, etc.)
- Proven excellent business administration skills with a proven ability to analyze and interpret data
- Proven exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience in the health insurance domain
