Reporting to the Sr. Director of Optum Rx Product Marketing, the Director of PBM Product Marketing is responsible for go to market strategy, execution and ongoing strategic leadership for marquee product launches, positioning, product naming and portfolio material management within our Optum Specialty Medication Management (OSMM) suite. The role requires a 29-level strategic thinker and leader who can effectively identify and message connections between products to deliver value, as well as future opportunities to elevate our specialty portfolio messaging.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic packaging and positioning of specialty products with others within our portfolio to create compelling stories that address client priorities and reinforce Optum Rx as a market leader
- Provide expertise as a trusted expert to inform marketing strategies and drive identification and prioritization of business needs
- Drive strategy and execution of product launches/enhancements and product naming; maintain product messaging and material portfolio post-launch
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Client Management and additional teams across the organization to produce best-in-class product marketing communications and materials
- Develop/implement long- and short-term marketing strategies/goals in alignment with applicable business goals and gain alignment/commitment with business leaders on marketing strategies/initiatives
- Support ongoing and ad hoc marketing activities

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of health care marketing experience
- 7+ years of experience driving strategy and leading efforts across cross-functional enterprise teams
- 7+ years of experience managing multiple projects, effectively prioritizing and shifting strategies as needed to meet the changing landscape
- 7+ years of experience building collaborative relationships across a broad range of disciplines, interests and organizations
- Proven ability to innovate and consider new ways to bundle and position offerings, bring to market go to market strategies, name products & manage E2E product launches with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) health care marketing experience
- Experience working in and engaging with clients and/or stakeholders in a matrixed, fast-paced dynamic environment
- MS Office product suite proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Proven solid communication skills

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
